Allah’s Art Of Detail

ALLAH’S ART OF DETAIL

Have you ever wondered…

What the caterpillar calls the end of the world the Creator calls a butterfly. Similarly what we think is death is actually the liberation of the soul from its body.

With the name of Allah, the Most Gracious the ever Merciful

If Allah can bring a dead seed to life after years then surely he can bring us back to life again on the Day of Resurrection.

Consider the winds. (Al Quraan-45:5). They bring and take away the rain clouds– they cause the flowers to be pollinated– they take away the polluted air, and bring in fresh air.

Consider the moon and the sun. Both together help us to keep track of time, (Al Quraan 10:5), Whenever there is a new moon there is a new month because the moon takes a month to orbit the earth.

The sun takes a year to orbit the earth and it gives us the seasons so we could plant certain crops appropriate to that season. The sun also gives us the day and the night because the earth takes 24 hours to rotate around itself.

There are many animals as well that follow bio-rhythms set by the sun and the moon for various activities.

The moon also causes the tides to rise and fall and this has numerous benefits.

Consider that we are created from dust– look around you and see that there are billions of people that have come from this dust (Al Quraan- 30:20). Take a handful of dust and ponder over it for this is what we are made off.

What a huge difference exists between us and the earth that we hold in your hand. Then look further – we have mates from amongst us and there is love between us so that we may live in tranquility. (Al Quraan- 30:21)

The general rule in nature is that the solid state of a substance is denser and heavier than its liquid state except for water. Ice (solid) floats on water (liquid) because it is less dense and lighter. This little exception to the rule has amazing implications.

Because of this wonder of Allah the large variety of marine life in the oceans survive; otherwise most of the oceans would have turned to ice. Ice is lighter than water and it floats on water creating an insulation that prevents the deeper layers of the water from turning to ice.

Similarly there are thousands of critical factors that ensure life is possible on earth.

If we want to be reminded about how lovely water tastes then we must imagine drinking a glass of water after fasting a whole day. If Allah so wished he could have made water taste salty. (Al Quraan- 56:58.)

Take a glass of fresh water and mix it with a glass of seawater and then taste it. Although all our fresh waters go into the sea Allah still separates the salt and the fresh waters by sending it through a cycle.

Reflect: Why is our thumb where it is and not where the other four fingers are?

Why is it that our eyes close shut when a dust particle we did not see comes towards it?

Why is it that we all have eyebrows above the eye and not below?

Why is it that all our senses are concentrated on one part of our body?

Ponder over the way the rest of your body is designed in relation to function.

In every single thing in nature and in every little part of our body there is deep wisdom and perfect planning. In everything there are the signs of Allah.

“In the creation of heavens and earth and in the changing of night and day there are surely clear signs for those who are intelligent…”3-190

Our life is not just by chance. Take four matchsticks and throw it onto the ground and see if it will fall into the shape of a square.

This is only trying to achieve one small thing by chance and it is almost impossible. There are millions of aspects that go into making just a tiny mosquito then imagine how much more planning it needs to make life on earth not only possible, but pleasurable as well.

Our life can therefore never be by chance. There is most definitely an All-Knowledgeable force that has made us with this world and this force is Allah.

Should we not then be thankful by following the guidance on how to live our lives that He has sent down to us through the Prophet Salallahu Alayhe wasallam?

Should we not then follow His All Wise Plan instead of our whims and fancies?

Now plant another seed (or start a business) and if Allah does not will it to grow then it would not and instead it would rot. (Al Quraan 56:63,)

Now! consider the thousands of people that lost dear ones in recent earthquakes and floods. We could have been one of them or we could have been born disabled – so why should we not fear Allah and give thanks for His many Bounties and Favors? Why should we nor strive to know our Lord Who is most Merciful….

Peace and salutations be upon Allah’s Habib, Muhammed Salal lahu Alayhe wa salam.
