Islam Verses Democracy

The world today is influenced by democracy. Before this it was influenced by Islam. This article is a comparative study of both. Islam verses democracy.

With the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful,

Most of the world today is ruled by policy that is determined by western countries under the pretext of democracy.

Democracy is not only about choosing a leader fairly or about building a country in terms of economy or infrastructure but it is also about coming up with rules made by people over and above the rules laid down by God in the way of religious teachings. These man made laws are enforcing over people irrespective of what their religion teaches or irrespective of what the people think is right or wrong.

Although democracy started off in Christian countries it has nothing to do with Christianity today. As an example to illustrate this: the current president of USA, Joe Biden, is a Catholic and the Catholic Church is at odds with him for allowing abortion.

Judging from the way it operates democracy is anything else but democracy. Although it portrays itself to give freedom and justice to all, It does the complete opposite. As an example: A florist in America (reference: the Arlene’s Flowers lawsuit) was fined for not taking on a contract to provide flowers for a homosexual wedding and she was even refused an appeal. She did not have the right to choose who she does business with.

In France, parliament has banned the head scarf. No one is allowed to wear religious symbols to work. Is this freedom to do what we want to do??

On an international level democratic countries fought wars against communist countries such as Vietnam and North Korea and a cold war against Russia simply because these countries do not follow their way.

Democratic countries coerces other countries to toe the line with economic sanctions and even go down to waging battles in Islamic countries on the pretext of fighting terrorism. Islamic countries use Shariah laws which they feel is a threat to their world rule and dominance.

It has reduced good wealthy countries such as Iraq, Libya and many others to squalor simply because they do not want to toe their line.

So democracy wants to call the shots in how this world is ruled and it seeks to destroy all other ways. Basically democracy does not respect or tolerate other system of governments. Is this democracy…

It even operates under cover in devious ways to topple and change governments. In Iran, after the Anglo Soviet invasion, they forced a good leader to resign to bring in the then Shah of Iran who was an American puppet that tried to westernise Iran.

In Turkey they installed Mustafa Kamel Attakut who oppressed Muslims by banning the head scarf and beards and promoting a western way of life. Is this freedom for all to live the way they want?

In democratic countries, the majority is used to oppress or even harm the minority. It’s happening in the biggest democracy of the world, India, right now. India’s majority is Hindu and Narendra Modi worked on the Hindu sentiment to get into power and even used his power to allow Hindus to cause harm to the minority Muslims. Is this democracy?

Democracy operates on every level, even a physiological one. It uses sugar quoted words and portrays itself as being liberating, modern and advanced. It uses the media and advanced marketing strategies to influence people to behave in the ways that suits their agenda. It’s making us slaves to our carnal desires and appeasing us with the glitz and glamour of this worldly life which is resulting in the break down of our families.

It trains us in a way to strive selfishly for our worldly ambitions. The wealth of the world is in the hands of a few wealthy people while the vast majority lives in abject poverty. It uses the Bible to swear in government officials on one hand but mocks and goes against it’s teachings on the other hand. It’s basically pulling the wool over the eyes of its majority Christian population; hypocrisy.

When the need arises, an undercover assassin (Jackal) or hit-man is sent out to execute people that go against them.

International bodies such as the UNO United Nations Organisation, WHO (world health organisation) and world economic forum (DEVOS) and many such organisations are all set up by them and controlled by them.

They use these organizations to control what happens throughout the world. Even the education our children are exposed to, is what they want our children to learn.

Some examples to show how democracy has failed; Democracy has banned physical corporal punishments for crime and instead introduced a prison system giving convicted criminals more and more rights under the guise of human rights making the world a haven for criminals. It has resulted in a paradise for criminal activities in some countries were even presidents and government officials are stealing public funds openly and getting away with it.

Just to quote some stats on crime to show how bad crime is in democratic countries. According to World population review, South Africa has the highest rate of rape in the world which is 132 incidents per 100,000 people. America has 27 rapes for 100, 000 people. If we had to consider that this is a crime against women and not on all of the population, then the figures should read 132 per 50 000 women and 27 for 50 000 women respectively.

Having one rape case in the whole world is bad enough, this number of cases shows that the world is definitely on the wrong path. Is this the woman’s rights that they so proudly claim to stand up for and protect.

According to Stats SA the number of incidences of murder was 16 000 in the 2019 to 2020 year. This is like living in a war zone. To cap it all, democracy will give such murderers rights while these murderers are the very people that abuse the rights of others.

Stats from the Bureau of justice in America shows that an estimated 68% of over 400,000 released prisoners in America were rearrested within 3 years, 79% within 6 years, and 83% within 9 years for recommitting crime proving that their criminal justice system of rehabilitation of criminals just does not work.

As for family, it is out to destroy this all important building block of society completely. In the 19th century in removed state corporal punishment for adultery and in the 20th Century it has decriminalised adultery and now they trying to promote this. They encourage women to dress up provocatively and they encourage couples to live out of wedlock.

Adult children are taught to no longer take care of parents but rather to put their efforts to set up their own lives. We are taught to be greedy and selfish, just seeking worldly comforts. Divorce has increased tremendously resulting in deep emotional pain especially to the young, fragile minds of the children of such broken homes.

Some stats again to show how the breakdown of family is impacting children; According to Stats SA only one-third of all South African children (32,7%) lived with both parents. A staggering one fifth (21,3%) of all children did not live with any one of their parents at all, while most children lived only with their mothers (42,0%).

The bottom line, only one third of the children in South Africa live in a stable, loving home with both parents. This is disastrous for the upbringing of children and the rearing of good future generations and we can see it already from the crime rate of our current adult population.

What becomes very apparent is that the trend in democracy is against freedom, justice and God’s Laws.

So, what is this democracy and where did it come from. Democracy started of in the 18th century based on a book/theory called ‘democracy in America’ written by the French author Tocqueville. It’s basically a man-made system. These frontline democratic countries were the very same ones that were responsible for slavery (negetive stimulation) and colonialism and after world war 11 they have teamed together to rule the world, by means of modern slavery (positive stimulation), dangling carrots in front of the population to get them to work.

In a democratic country anything can be passed as law so long as the majority votes for it. History teaches that there were many states in America that banned alcohol use in the 18th century and these laws were changed in parliament in 1933 to allow alcohol consumption.

Prior to 1962 all states in America criminalized same sex but since then laws have been passed to allow this and more recently, democracy not only promotes this, but also forces people to accept this by law.

“Do they seek to enforce the law of (the days of) ignorance? And who is better than Allah in giving judgment for a people who are convinced (of their faith)?” Al Quran 5:50.

If we are people of religion and faith then we need to turn to God and follow His way.

Islamic law and other religions have their roots in Divine Scriptures such as, in the case of Islam, the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Islamic laws are very compatible to other religions with minor variations in some aspects but Islam also contains completely new laws in some areas that the older religions did not touch on because it is the final religion and it is completing God’s laws.

Islamic law is Devine revelations (God’s Law) revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, which was in the 7 century, but if we consider that it is a follow up and a build-up on other religions then it is as old as humanity itself. Islam recognizes other prophets such as David, Moses, Jesus, peace be upon them all, and it recognizes the original books and guidance sent to these prophets.

All religions need to respect each other and work together to bring back God’s law on earth once again so that love, justice and equity returns to the way we live our lives. A quote from the Holy Qur’an.

“Certainly, We (God) sent Our Messengers with clear proofs and We (also) sent down with them the Code of Law and the Balance so that people might conduct themselves with equity and justice. …” Al Quran 57:25

As an example to consider: the concept of a marriage contract is from the inception of humanity. It is a sacred contract, it is a religious thing. Islam has in-depth teachings on marriage and family matters which are in place to nurture and protect this most important, foundation, building block of society in which our children grow up in.

Islam (God) places such great stress on marriage that it even passes the death sentence on adultery to protect this all important building block of society. We have done an article on this site, “Domestic disputes”, which explores the intense guidelines that God has revealed over time to guide us towards having good families and developing bonds of love.

When it comes to crime religion teaches us to first educate people to live in peace and harmony and to avoid crime. Then, if people still commit crime, then they have to be punished by caning, chopping of body parts or the death penalty depending on the severity of the crime. This is to deter crime so that all can live in peace and harmony.

Down To Solutions: Change starts off from grass root levels so we have to strive to change the way we think and behave.

What comes through very clearly in this discussion so far is that deception is the core of democracy. It is the very worst of deception at the highest level.

We therefore need to train ourselves to ponder, to reflect, to take everything with a pinch of salt and to look beneath the glitz and glamour. This is not easy, so we have to sincerely pray to God to guide us on the path of rectitude and to save us from those who misguide.

Secondly, these people that influence the world today understand human psychology and they are using this to misguide us. Soft Power.

Our carnal desires loves to be materialistic, it loves to be the boss, it loves to be the idol that everyone looks up to and so forth and democracy is capitalising on this knowledge by encouraging us to follow our passions or our carnal desires in this regard. This is making our souls shallow and evil.

As an example; a man pumps himself with steroids to have big muscles so as to show off or a woman wears tight jeans so as to flaunt beauty. They are encouraging us to seek attention and we all do this unwittingly in one way or another because this is what our carnal desires likes.

Our religions teaches us to control and kill our carnal desires. We must not be materialistic but learn to be content. We must not seek name and fame but instead strive to be modest and humble. We must care for others. This is growing up, this is behaving in a mature, responsible way. Apart from this, controling our carnal desires leads to purifying our souls.

Just like satan, Democracy wants to divide us, to bring us down to the level of living alone. We need to do the opposite of breaking away from our family. Instead we need to build stronger bonds with our parents, siblings and all the rest of our family.

Live together, work on common projects, pray together, go out together, share meals together, share and help each other and so forth. This socialising with family will help us to build bonds and to keep our religion and culture.

Thirdly, democracy uses the media to demonize religion and deviously pick unnecessary faults and criticise our religions to turn us away from our religion. As an example, they pick faults with a modestly dressed woman making her out to be someone that is unhappy. They insinuate that she is oppressed by her husband or father.

They make corporal punishment to seem barbaric. They make a couple living with an extended family to be outdated and backward. They portray a housewife as an uneducated slave.

Let’s be proud of our religion and cultures, let’s dress and behave according to our religions. Let’s uphold our religions and cultures.

Forthly, most movies and adverts sets idealistic goals which are in reality misleading. They can make a drug addict or a robber or an adulterer into  a hero to be looked up too. They can a make a woman with low morals into a heroin thus encouraging our children to dress and behave in this manner.

All this appears classy but in reality it is a life of misery. So we have to be very careful of this subliminal programming of our minds and our children’s. There are alternatives to Hollywood and Bollywood, such as Ertugrul.

Also, we need to change our focus when it comes to religion. It’s not about being ritualistic and only praying but it is more about making ourselves better people, it’s about understanding who we are and why we are here on earth. If we are educated in terms of religion as to what is right and what is wrong then we would be able to stop this decay in society.

We also need to change our focus from secular education and careers to religious education. What’s the point of our children earning well when they cannot build a loving family or have good relationships with us or with others.

We have to win the intellectual battle too. We have to beat them with common sense and this means that we have to be educated in terms of religion. We have to beat them at their own game by promoting the religious way and standing up for it.

It’s time to understand why God has put certain rules in place and we need to show the world how important this is. It is high time to expose democracy as the handiwork of satan by showing the world how it had failed.

Peace and salutations be upon Allah’s Messengers who are responsible for guiding humanity throughout time. Ameen.
